Washington DC Remodel

VCF/Atlantic Design Group was asked to re-do a “renovation gone wrong”.

The Condominium’s board of owners asked VCF/Atlantic Design Group to take over.

In addition to the flawed contractor and designer problems, the porcelain tile floor throughout the main lobby floor was cracking from the foundation. We repaired the large cracks, leveled the entire main and elevator lobbies, mail room, and common hallways on the first floor.  Our technitians also rubberized the floor to protect the tile from future cracks, finishing with the new porcelain tile installation.

The flooring was finished ahead of time and on budget.

The wallpaper and paint were not correct. VCF/Atlantic Design Group was asked to locate the correct wallcoverings, install the new wallcoverings, and paint, repair all exsisting veneer walls and woodwork.

Lastley, we had the additional assignment to select a tile and reface the front desk.

The tile was falling off the the face of the counter from the original contractor.  VCF’s experienced technitians installed the newly selected mosaic tile properly.   Two years later, our installation is still holding.
